Astro Audio Video and Lighting presents the Across The Fader DJ Battle in their Glendale showroom tonight and The Crossfader Show will be there to cover all the action. Tune in to see a talented assortment of DJs from around the LA/OC area who have only five minutes to show some skills to the judges who will be dishing out some constructive and sometimes harsh criticism. Our coverage starts at 7pm Pacific/10 pm Eastern.

The Crossfader Show will be covering the Across The Fader DJ Battle at Astro Audio Video And Lighting April 7th starting at 11 am. DJs from around the area will be allowed to sign up and try out for a chance to make it to the preliminary rounds and eventually be on track to potentially win $10,000 worth of gear.

According to Astro's blog, "Each person will have 2 minutes to qualify. The full battle will consist of 4 rounds, a semi-final, and a championship round where the grand prize will be awarded."

A recent video from DJ Tech Tools announced their new back pack with enough room for a full controller, laptop and maybe even a baby elephant. I had the good frotune of talking to the guys and they let me touch the pack. Very sturdy and soft.
